After her internship and community service and working in the UK she came home to work at the Red Cross Children’s Hospital (first as SHO then registrar) for two and a half years. Dr. Du Preez then moved to trauma as a Casualty Officer at a Private Hospital for a year before doing a brief stint as a ship surgeon on the RMS St Helena. She started as one of the original doctors’ at Intercare Blaauwberg in 2004 and has been a valuable part of the team since then.
