Magda de Bruto qualified as an oral hygienist in 2002 from the University of Pretoria. She has a passion for her work, as she loves to make a difference in people’s lives. As a mother, Magda has a special interest in working with children.
Dr Linton Brown (BchD) graduated from the University of the Western Cape and completed his community service in Bethlehem in the Free State. It was here where he developed an interest in aesthetics and paediatrics, and to this day continues to enjoy working with children and making people smile. Dr Brown believes in lifelong learning as well as the importance of organisation and policy within the industry. As a result, he is an active member of related dental associations. He also enjoys watching sports, spending time with loved ones, and stressing himself out over fantasy football.
Dr Poonam Bhana Dip. OH(WITS), BDS (WITS) first graduated as an Oral Hygienist in 2012 and as a dentist in 2017. She completed her community service in KwaZulu Natal and enjoys all fields of dentistry.
Dr. Magagane obtained a BSc Medical Sciences and MBChB degree at Medunsa. Thereafter he obtained a Certificate in Medicine and Law and an LLB degree, both at Unisa. While enjoining practicing medicine, he has a passion for law and ethics in the healthcare industry. He has been in private practice in different settings for over 26 years focusing on wholistic health.
Dr Ammie Brummer (BChD) graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2006. She enjoys all the aspects of dentistry. Dr Brummer has special interests in aesthetics and endodontics. She loves being a mom and working with children.
Dr Saba Shembe qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Medunsa in 2002. In 2006, she completed a Diploma in HIV/AIDS Management and embarked on HIV/AIDS research for more than 12 years. She worked as a Provincial Advanced Clinical Care Program Manager (Drug-Resistant HIV and TB) in the Free State for the past 3 years. She has extensive knowledge of Emergency and Casualty care, as well as Male Medical Circumcision (MMC).
Dr Lauren Cloete received her medical degree in 1995 from the University of Cape Town. She has been working in general practice for 18 years and enjoys family medicine. Dr Cloete enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Dr. Shailin Gregory Henry graduated in 2012 from the Nelson R. Mandela School of Medicine in Kwa-Zulu Natal. He is experienced in family medicine and community medicine. He has a keen interest in mental health, counseling, and Life Coaching. He has experience working with geriatric patients and enjoys working with children.
Dr Cassandra Webb received her degree in dentistry from the University of Pretoria in 2009. She relocated to Pietermaritzburg in 2011 and has since worked in private practice.
She furthered her studies under the tutelage of Skip Truitt, completing a certificate in Functional Orthopaedics & Orthodontics as well as the treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction. In 2012, she completed the DGOI Curriculum in Oral Implantology which was validated by the New York University College of Dentistry. In 2017 she completed her Mastership Diploma in Laser Dentistry through Aachen University in Germany and formed part of a pioneering group of clinicians who were the first to complete this qualification in South Africa.
Dr Webb follows a biologically integrated approach to dentistry to the benefit of her patients. Her drive and passion for excellence produce consistent results in delivering dentistry of the highest standard.
Dr Paul Nel graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 2010 and joined the Intercare group in May 2016. He completed a diploma in child health from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa in 2017.
Dr. Aikman completed a BSc in Medical Sciences from the University of Pretoria, as well as an honours degree in Anatomy, which he has passed with distinction. He then completed his MBChB from the University of the Free State; after which he completed his internship at Steve Biko Academic Hospital. He has a special interest in the field of surgery including trauma-, endoscopic-, peri-anal pathology and acute surgical care.

Dr Lettie Moodie graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1997. She also obtained a post-graduate diploma in general dentistry from the University of the Western Cape in 2007. She has a special interest in paediatric dentistry and enjoys spending time with her family and playing the piano.
Dr Heinrich Weber graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2007. He has special interests in endodontic treatment and orthodontics. Dr Weber’s hobbies include wildlife photography and outdoor sports.
Dr Willie Booyens graduated from the University of Pretoria with a distinction, receiving his degree (B.Ch.D) in the year 1975. After a year of military duty, a long career in dentistry followed. He enjoys his leisure on the farm, where he was born, with his grandchildren, teaching them the joy of living an uncomplicated life near nature.
Dr. Kayla Papier, BChD (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), graduated from the University of The Western Cape. She's passionate about yoga, leads a healthy lifestyle, enjoys traveling, nature walks, surfing, and the arts.
Dr Seef Pretorius (MBChB) graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1996. He has special interests in travel medicine, botox and fillers. Dr Pretorius enjoys family medicine and radio-controlled modelling.
Dr Wilma Bergh (MBChB) graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1988. She has special interests in female health and diabetes mellitus. Dr Bergh is also a qualified travel doctor. She enjoys running and cycling in free time and spending time with her family.
Dr Gerhard Olivier received his BChD from the University of Pretoria in 1999, he also attended MFGDP Royal College of Surgeons in 2005. Dr Olivier also received a qualification in clinical restorative cosmetic dentistry at the University of Central Lancashire in 2012. He has a special interest in restorative dentistry including crowns, implants and bridges, but is dedicated to a preventative approach in dentistry.
Dr. Botha obtained an MB.Ch.B degree at the University of Pretoria and completed his internship at Kalafong Hospital, where he started to specialize in pediatrics before joining a group practice in the Pretoria City Centre. For the past 45 years, he has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. He is a dedicated and well-loved general practitioner, for whom the well-being of his patients, has always been his first priority.
Dr George Sebastiaan Wolfaardt (M.B., Ch. B.M.Fam. Med) (Cum Laude), graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1984. He summited Mt. Kilimanjaro (Uhura Peak 1997) and in 2016 completed 21 consecutive Argus Cape Town Cycle Tours. Dr Wolfaardt enjoys the outdoor life including camping, swimming, golf, cycling and hiking in his leisure time.
Dr Vivienne Behrens graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1986. After internship, she spent 2 years as a Medical Officer at Addington Hospital in Durban. She joined Intercare Blaauwberg in 2004 as a valuable team member and manages the Travel Clinic at the branch.
She competes in a range of sporting activities, including The Alzheimer’s Awareness Challenge which aims to encourage older people to get active to slow down or prevent the onset of this debilitating disease. Dr Behrens has a passion for high mountains and has climbed Kilimanjaro. She also enjoys visiting game parks.
Dr Marlene Ebersohn obtained the MBChB degree with distinction from the University of Pretoria in 2012. She also completed a B.Sc Dietetics degree with distinction at the North-West University in 2004.
She has a particular interest in children’s health and diabetes. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two girls.
Dr De wet Bergh obtained an MBChB degree from the University of Pretoria in 1983 and a General Practice diploma in 2005. He was a General Practitioner in the countryside (Reitz and Bella Bella) for many years. Dr Bergh joined Intercare Wonderboom in 2016. He has a special interest in small procedures and anaesthesia. Dr Berg enjoys spending time with his family and is a proud grandfather.
Dr Wildrie du Plessis received his dental degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 1984. He has a special interest in restorative dentistry. Dr du Plessis enjoys painting, travelling and spending time with his family.
Dr Corli Fourie qualified at the University of the Free State in 2006. She continued her studies in critical care and has been the Head of High Care at the Steve Biko hospital for five years. She has a particular interest in general surgery, plastic surgery, and aesthetics and has completed an advanced course in aesthetics focusing on Botox® and collagen fillers. She has several years of experience in this field.

Dr Ilana Joubert obtained the BSC Degree in Human Physiology and Biochemistry, thereby qualifying as a biokineticist. She furthered her studies and received the MBChB degree in 2005. In addition, Dr Joubert completed a Diploma in Diabetes Care in 2016 through the University of South Whales.
Dr Joubert has a keen interest in nutrition and exercise. She enjoys all fields of medicine and has an individualised approach to patient care. She is passionate about women’s health, paediatric care, diabetes, minor surgical procedures, and trauma.
As a mother of three little girls, she finds working with children extremely rewarding.
Dr Jenny Hanley graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1999 and after completing a diploma in child health, travelled to Canada where she completed her LMCC exams. She has keen interests in women’s health and child health. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, particularly boating, running and spending time outdoors.
Dr Estée van Wyk graduated from the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (Medunsa) in 2015. She also obtained a BSc Honours degree in Haematology (cum laude) from the University of Pretoria in 2009.
She has a special interest in gynaecology, internal medicine, as well as mental and children’s health.
Dr Lynn Gumede trained in Cuba as a medical practitioner. She did the integration program in South Africa and obtained her MBChB degree from the University of Stellenbosch.
She’s been working in the Pietermaritzburg area for the past 10 years. She is a well-experienced general practitioner and has extensive experience working in the ER department. Dr Gumede has a passion for healing the sick in a holistic and family-friendly manner and the prevention and treatment of diseases.
Dr Jessica Simpson graduated from the University of The Western Cape in 2017. After graduating, she completed her community service year in the SA National Defence Force in Port Elizabeth, where she gained experience and exposure in various aspects of dentistry.
Dr Simpson has a keen interest in anatomy and pathology and is busy with postgraduate diploma studies in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.

Dr Pieter Snyman graduated with his medical degree (MBChB) from the University of Pretoria in 2001. He was part of the Presidential Medical Team in 2003-2004 and looked after former President, Mr Nelson Mandela. Dr Snyman has a special interest in orthopaedics and sports medicine. He enjoys fly-fishing and hunting in his free time.
Dr Thapelo Mogashane (Bsc, MBChB) obtained his medical degree from MEDUNSA in 2010. He has experience as a community service doctor and medical officer in Philadelphia Hospital in Limpopo, where he was mainly an HIV doctor. Dr Thapelo has special interests in HIV medicine and cardiovascular medicine. He enjoys spending time with family in his spare time.
Dr Johan van der Merwe graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1994. He is the dental chairman of the Clinical Committee - Intercare Group. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry. Dr van der Merwe is an active member of the worship team at his church and is also a judge for the Budgerigar Society of SA.
Dr Konrad Bekker graduated (MB,ChB) from the University of Stellenbosch in 2007 and obtained the Travel Medicine certificate from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2014. He is registered as a general practitioner in the Republic of Ireland and worked as a GP in Dublin and Cork. In South Africa, he is a Panel Physician for the United Kingdom – one of only three in the country.
Dr Bekker is passionate about family medicine, paediatrics, and mental health. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and is also a sports enthusiast.

Dr. Denisha Naidoo graduated from the Witwatersrand University in 2010 where after she practiced in both the private and public health sector. In 2015 she traveled to schools across South Africa to help underprivileged children receive oral health care. Dr. Naidoo has a special interest in cosmetic and paediatric dentistry.
Dr Schalk Pienaar graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2003 and has since gained experience in multiple medical disciplines. He is qualified in obstetric sonography and was an advanced trauma life support instructor. Dr Pienaar is a licensed yellow fever and travel health medicine provider.
He has special interests in male sexual health, mental health, dermatology, obstetrics, family planning, and paediatrics. He excels at basic surgical skills.
Dr Lizl Pretorius (BChD) graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1998 where after she obtained her PDD (Clin Dent). Dr Pretorius enjoys working with children and strives to make a difference in each child’s life in practising dentistry. She also has a special interest in aesthetic dentistry. At home, she enjoys working in the garden and listening to music.
Dr Pascale Gillis (MBChB) received her medical degree in Belgium. She also received a postgraduate degree in Stellenbosch. Dr Gillis worked on a cruise ship as the ship doctor for 16 months and enjoyed every moment of it.
Dr Louise Dreyer (MBChB) graduated from the University of the Free State in 2011. She also received cum laude for her medical degree and was awarded the best medical student of her year. Since then she has developed a special interest in paediatrics and the management of diabetes mellitus.
Dr. Hanthea Lourens (MBChB) Graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2014. She received her Diploma in Dermatology from the University of South Wales. Dr. Lourens has a special interest in dermatology, wound care and aesthetic medicine
Dr Lombard graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2001 and completed her community service in Acornhoek in Limpopo. She has been working in the Netherlands since 2003 and relocated to South Africa in 2013 and worked in private practice. Dr Daniel Scheffler (MBChB) graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1994. He has extensive international experience and has worked in Namibia, Kenya, Indonesia, Thailand and the UK. He holds a certificate in Diving and Submarine Medicine and is a Diving Medical Examiner for sport and commercial divers. Dr Scheffler enjoys surfing and mountain climbing with his family during his free time.
Dr Anje Holtzhausen graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 2000. She completed her post-graduate diploma in MFOS in 2013. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a special interest in oral surgery. Dr Holtzhausen enjoys running and exercising.
Dr Pieter Labuschagne graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1990 followed by a post-graduate diploma in Oral Surgery (UP) in 1992. He then practiced in London (UK), furthering his interest in aesthetic dentistry as a member of The London Smile Clinic. He also completed a 2-year certificate in implantology through the University of Pretoria in collaboration with the German Implant Society and the New York University College of Dentistry. He has a great interest in facial aesthetics.
Dr Neil Richards (MBChB) received his medical degree in 1993, he also received a diploma in emergency care and obstetrics. Dr Richards has a special interest in family medicine and enjoys sports and travelling in his free time. Dr Richards also has a fellowship in family medicine.
Dr Divan Castelyn received his dental degree in 2007 from the University of Stellenbosch. He has a special interest in paediatric dentistry. Dr Castelyn enjoys exercising and spending time with family in his leisure time.

Dr John Grobbelaar graduated in 1989 from the University of Pretoria. He did 4 years of post-graduate training and during this time obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics through the College of Gynaecologists SA. He furthermore did post-graduate training in all forms of General Surgery. Dr Jessica Paul obtained the MBChB degree from the University of Cape Town in 2002. For the past 14 years, she worked in emergency medicine, during which time she received a diploma in Primary Emergency Care (Dip PEC). She previously worked in the United Kingdom, both in the private sector and NHS.
She is compassionate and caring and enjoys getting to know her patients to provide the best possible care. Her years spent working in the emergency department have provided her with experience in a wide variety of conditions. Dr Paul enjoys all disciplines of medicine. Dr John Nieuwoudt graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1984 and has been in private practice since 1987 in the Western Cape. Dr Deepti Naranbhai graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 2005, after which she worked in general dental practice both abroad and locally, providing family care and cosmetic dentistry. She has a keen interest in phobic patients, paediatrics, orthodontics and dental implants.
Dr Henry du Plooy received his medical degree in 1999 from the University of Pretoria and his diving and submarine medicine qualification in 2002. He subsequently also completed a MSc Sports Medicine degree from the University of Pretoria in 2004. He has special interests in sports medicine, orthopaedics, men’s health and urology
Dr. Jon LeeChing obtained his MBChB from the University of Cape Town in 2004. After returning from Ireland in 2009 he began working in private emergency medicine. Dr William Barnard (MBChB DOH AME) graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1981. He is a CAA accredited senior designated aviation examiner and an occupational health practitioner. Dr Barnard is a very committed, forthright and thorough doctor. In his free time, he enjoys camping, especially in Namibia.

Dr de Klerk (MBBCh) graduated from Wits University in 1993, after which he worked in the UK for 5 years in Psychiatry, Casualty and Oncology hospital departments. He has a keen interest in the emotional wellbeing of people as this is often overlooked and undertreated, and is well versed in treating depression and anxiety disorders.

Dr Jan de Vos is a well experienced and established Orthopaedic Surgeon. He was inter alia President of the South African Orthopaedic Association (SAOA) and part of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is the elected President of the South African Arthroplasty Society since 2017.
Dr De Vos is the co-author of the Guidelines for Hip and Knee Arthroplasty in South Africa and the founder of the South African National Joint Registry. He specialises in hip, knee and shoulder pathology.

Dr. Ahlers studied medicine at the University of Pretoria and graduated in 2014. She has a keen passion for people and optimizing general health. Dr Gordhan completed his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the University of Pretoria, qualifying as a Surgeon in 2007. He has been in private practice since 2007 with a part-time academic position at the University.
He is trained in minimally invasive surgery, with colorectal surgery as his interest.
Dr Krizette Rozmiarek graduated from the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University in 2015. In her final year, her research project (Stress and the Dental Student at a South African University) won first prize in the Undergraduate Colgate Competition hosted by the South African (SA) division of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR). She also represented South Africa in the Unilever Hatton Competition at the global IADR hosted in Seoul, Korea in 2016.
Dr Rozmiarek completed her community service in the North West province and worked in the public sector until 2018 when she relocated to KwaZulu-Natal. She has been in private practice since then. Dr Rozmiarek has a comprehensive approach to dentistry, and she strives to provide a good dental experience to all patients.
Dr Thembisa Sitsila qualified as a medical practitioner from the University of KwaZulu Natal. She obtained post-graduate qualifications in Occupational Health and HIV Management in the Workplace at the University of Stellenbosch. She worked in the public sector where she was involved with HIV research and management whilst advancing her studies as a Family Practitioner through the University of KwaZulu Natal. Since 2018, she worked in private practice. Her main areas of interest are HIV Management, Emergency Care, Women & Maternal Health and Paediatrics. She also has a passion for public health matters and is currently completing her studies as a Family Practitioner.
Dr Vinesh Reddy (MBBCh; MBA) received both his medical degree in 2003 and his business degree in 2015, from the University of Witwatersrand. He received a distinction for his master’s degree. Dr Reddy has special interests in diabetes and chronic care.
Dr Ramjee finished a Bachelor of Science and medical degree at Wits University in 1993. After graduating he worked at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Johannesburg for 2 years before pursuing a career in Family Medicine. He relocated to Cape Town and has been in private practice since 1998. He also held a part-time lecturer post at the University of Cape Town Family Medicine Division for many years.
In 2005 he obtained a Family Medicine Diploma cum laude from Stellenbosch University. In 2018 he obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Diabetes with distinction from the University of South Wales. Dr Ramjee is also a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians (South Africa).
In 2016 he joined the Intercare group practice in Cape Town where he works as a Family Physician. Dr Ramjee also serves on the Intercare Clinical Advisory Committee.
Dr Fritz Potgieter received his medical degree in 1969 from the University of Pretoria, he also received a degree in pharmacology (Potchefstroom University) and sports medicine (University of Pretoria). He has been in the Intercare group for more than ten years. He has special interests in family and sports medicine.
Dr Candice Harris currently practices as a general practitioner with a special interest in HIV medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Science (1995), Bachelor of Nursing (1999), Master of Science (Nursing)(2002), Doctor of Philosophy (Midwifery and HIV)(2004), and Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (2008) all at the University of Witwatersrand. Dr Harris also has a diploma in Advanced Midwifery and Neonatal Care at the University of Johannesburg (2004) and a diploma in HIV Management (Colleges of Medicine, South Africa)(2011).
Dr. Mamiala completed his medical degree at MEDUNSA in 2010 and acted as CEO/Clinical manager of Aliwal North hospital for some time. He has a passion for primary healthcare and emergency medicine. His interests are HIV/Aids, tuberculosis, hypertension, diabetes and paediatrics.
Dr Harry Vermeulen (BChD) graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1995. His professional interest fields are aesthetic dentistry, smile makeovers, veneers, crowns, implants and general dentistry. Dr Harry enjoys art and photography in his free time.
Dr Carien Steyn obtained the MBChB degree in 2012 and qualified as a Family Physician in 2020. Before this, she worked in the pharmaceutical industry for ten years, after qualifying as a dietitian in 1995. Dr Steyn is passionate about HIV / AIDS management and emergency medicine. In her free time, she enjoys reading crime fiction and fantasy and loves traveling.
Dr Holford (MBChB) graduated from the University of Free State in 2011. He is very attentive in his approach and strongly believes in effective communication mutually exchanged. He has a special interest in orthopaedics and enjoys golfing in his free time.
Dr Marilie Hugo (BChD) graduated in 2004 from the University of Pretoria. She received a distinction in Advance 1 for ballet through the Royal Academy of Dance. Dr Hugo has a passion for working with children. She is a mother of two beautiful children and enjoys road running.
Dr. Elandré Bosch graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1988. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a special interest in endodontics and restorative dentistry. He spends time at leisure with loved ones, enjoying cycling, hunting and traveling.
Dr Netricia Govender qualified as a medical doctor from the University of Pretoria and has 10-years of experience as a general practitioner. Dr Arno Weber received his dental degree in 1977, he also received a degree in oral pathology in 1986 and was a professor and specialist at the University of Pretoria until 1994. Dr Weber has a special interest in biological dentistry including safe mercury removal, aesthetic dentistry and implantology.
Dr Saville Furman (MBChB FCFP(SA)) graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1973. He was awarded the Boz Fehler Fellowship in 1991 for furthering Continuing Medical Education of General Practitioners in South Africa. Previously Dr Furman was a lecturer at UCT and his current involvement in the community includes giving talks to colleagues at hospitals, schools and senior citizens.
Dr Nico Venter obtained his MBChB degree from the University of Pretoria in 1988. After completing his internship at Kalafong hospital in Pretoria, he went into private practice. He joined Intercare in 2016. Dr Venter has special interests in dermatology, paediatric medicine as well as surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, woodworking, painting, and he is an ardent golfer.
Dr. Santho Motladi graduated as a dentist (BDS) at Medunsa in 1996. He completed a course in Fixed Orthodontic Therapy through the Clinical Foundation of Orthopaedics and Orthodontics in 1997 and in 2011 he completed a course in Intraoral Implants in Australia. He is blessed with 2 children.
Dr Gys Vermeulen (BChD) graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1970. His professional interest fields are basic dentistry as well as crown and bridge work. Dr Gys enjoys reading, family life and building model planes and cars in his free time.
Dr Nkhumeleni (BDS, MDS, M Dent Ortho) graduated as a dentist in 1989 and became an orthodontist in 1998. He is also a member of the SA Society of Orthodontists. Dr Nkhumeleni is passionate about creating beautiful smiles by working together with his patients to achieve their orthodontic goals.
Dr Ester Greffrath (MBChB) received her medical degree from the University of Pretoria in 2012. She also received a diploma for good service in gynaecology at Tembisa hospital. Dr Greffrath has a special interest in family medicine and is originally from Namibia.
Dr Immelman completed his MBChB degree at the University of Pretoria (UP). After the completion of his community service, he rejoined UP’s Orthopaedic Department, where he completed his MMed and FC Ortho degrees Cum Laude. After the completion of his studies, he received a bursary from the South African Arthroplasty Association, to complete a fellowship at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, in the United Kingdom. Here he gained extensive experience in conservative and surgical treatment of patients with hip, knee and foot pathology. Dr Immelman has a special interest in total hip and knee replacements (primary and revisions), as well as foot and ankle surgery.
Dr Ben Veenemans obtained his B.Sc. (Zoology and Entomology) in 1989 and his MBChB in 1996 at the University of Pretoria. He has been in private practice in Hazyview for 16 years before moving back to Pretoria. Dr Veenemans has special interests in surgery, orthopaedics and paediatrics. Dr Vishal Moodley obtained his MBChB degree in 2004 from the University of the Free State. Prior to that he also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree at the same institution with majors in Physiology and Psychology. He is very conscientious in his approach to patients and supports both evidence-based medicine as well as a holistic healing treatment approach. He has worked in an ICU for 2 years post Internship, and thereafter in the Emergency Room at Mediclinic Milnerton for the past 13 years. Dr Colin Frye graduated in 2000 from the University of Witwatersrand. He has special interests in paediatrics, men's health and sports medicine. He enjoys endurance events, especially triathlon's, having completed six Ironman 70.3 events and one Ironman 140.6 event.

Dr Stephen Horwitz graduated as a dentist from the University of Witwatersrand in 1989. He has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, paediatric dentistry, composite resin restorations, implant restorations and endodontics. He likes to practice preventive and minimally invasive dentistry. Dr Horwitz is a keen cyclist (having already completed nineteen 94.7 cycle challenges) and runner.
Dr. Diana Griffiths completed her medical degree at The University of Stellenbosch. Prior to this she studied a Bachelor of Arts degree at Rhodes and was a professional ballet dancer for Cape Town City Ballet! Her impetus for holistic healing transpired during her Honours degree at UCT, where she graduated Cum Laude. Her innovative and curious spirit led her to develop groundbreaking work in the dance world by teaching ballet to disabled people. It was during this time she developed a fascination and love for medicine, in particular Integrative Medicine. Graduated from UCT Medical school in 1998. After her internship and community service and working in the UK she came home to work at the Red Cross Children’s Hospital (first as SHO then registrar) for two and a half years. Dr. Du Preez then moved to trauma as a Casualty Officer at a Private Hospital for a year before doing a brief stint as a ship surgeon on the RMS St Helena. She started as one of the original doctors’ at Intercare Blaauwberg in 2004 and has been a valuable part of the team since then. She has always enjoyed sports, particularly running but has recently turned to Triathlon and has completed a few Ironman 70.3 events ( two of which international). She loves animals, reading and traveling.
Dr Chelna Marais completed her studies at the University of Stellenbosch. She also has a diploma in obstetrics and anaesthetics. Dr. Jacques Suter graduated at the University of Pretoria in June 1986. He served in the SA Airforce medical corps between 1987 – 1990.
