Hi, I’m Dr Lené Merbold, a dentist at Intercare Silver Lakes. I am passionate about providing gentle, patient-centred dental care. I graduated top of my class from the University of Pretoria in 2019 and furthered my studies with a Diploma in 2020 and a master’s degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in 2022. In 2025, I completed a Basic Implantology course, expanding my scope of practice and strengthening my ability to provide comprehensive dental care. I have a special interest in general dentistry, particularly working with children and performing minor oral surgery. I strive to create a positive and comfortable experience for every patient, ensuring that both children and adults feel at ease throughout their visit. During this time, he completed advanced training in endodontics. Dr De Jager has a strong interest in root canal therapy and digital CAD/CAM crown and bridge dentistry and has extensive experience in this field. In 2018, he was appointed as a Key Opinion Leader by Millner’s, a leading dental company, in recognition of his expertise in intraoral digital scanners and design software.
