Graduated from UCT Medical school in 1998. After her internship and community service and working in the UK she came home to work at the Red Cross Children’s Hospital (first as SHO then registrar) for two and a half years. Dr. Du Preez then moved to trauma as a Casualty Officer at a Private Hospital for a year before doing a brief stint as a ship surgeon on the RMS St Helena. She started as one of the original doctors’ at Intercare Blaauwberg in 2004 and has been a valuable part of the team since then. She has always enjoyed sports, particularly running but has recently turned to Triathlon and has completed a few Ironman 70.3 events ( two of which international). She loves animals, reading and traveling.

She interned at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, followed by community service at Tambo Memorial Hospital, where she focused on Internal Medicine. Dr Löser values primary healthcare's importance and believes in fostering an environment where individuals are treated, educated, and empowered about their health, ultimately enabling them to take control of their well-being. She will soon become a first-time mom. Her love for children has always been central to her life. Children are her passion, and she is dedicated to their well-being. Beyond medicine, she finds solace in reading and nurturing her love for wildlife and conservation, activities that enrich her life and reinforce her belief in holistic well-being. In all aspects of her life, whether as a healthcare provider, an expectant mother, or a passionate advocate for children, her mission remains steadfast: to serve, educate, and uplift the community.

After completing her undergraduate studies, she underwent an internship at Tygerberg Hospital and later served a fulfilling community service year in a small rural hospital in Transkei. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to positively impacting healthcare in various settings. Dr Botha is pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Family Medicine at the University of Cape Town. Her primary focus is on providing holistic healthcare, preventative medicine, adolescent health, and women's wellbeing. However, she enjoys the challenge of unravelling the complexities of all medical conditions and embracing the unique aspects of each case. Besides her medical work, Dr Botha has several hobbies that keep her engaged. She is an avid reader, hiker, surfer, and yogi. This blend of interests reflects her belief in mind, body, and spirit harmony.
