In-practice Dental Terms of Service

Dear Patient

Intercare is committed to managing your personal information in accordance with the POPIA. We have specific processes in place regarding how we collect, process, share, and keep your personal information. Detail is available on the homepage of our website under Privacy Policy.

For your convenience, Intercare offers longer hours during the week, and our facilities are also open on weekends and public holidays. An after-hours fee (Code 0148) might be charged for consultations after-hours on weekdays and on weekends and public holidays. The after-hours fee (Code 0148) is not covered by most medical schemes and patients will be liable for payment.

This is a cashless facility – card payments and most medical aids are accepted.

Dental care is coming to Intercare George. Currently a trusted medical centre, Intercare George is moving to a brand-new, state-of-the-art Medical & Dental Centre in August 2026, and for the first time we're adding a dedicated dental practice, bringing dentistry and medical care together under one roof. Our new dental practice will offer general and family dentistry, including check-ups, cleanings, fillings, extractions and preventive care, all with the trusted Intercare standard, most major medical schemes accepted, and ample on-site parking at One York Medical Centre, 1 York Street. Same trusted care. More space. More services. More convenience.

Yes. As part of our move to a more convenient location with ample parking, Intercare George will open with an upgraded Medical Centre and brand new dental centre.

Our new dental practice offers general and family dentistry, including routine check-ups, cleanings, fillings, extractions and preventive care.

Once open, we recommend booking online to secure your preferred time; walk-ins will be accommodated.

Online dental bookings will be for a standard 30-minute consultation. For longer procedures, please contact the practice directly.

Yes, we accept most major medical schemes. This is a cashless facility: card and medical scheme payments only (no cash).

Yes, private patients are welcome. You can pay by card at the practice.

Yes, our dental practice will welcome patients of all ages, so the whole family can be seen in one convenient place.

Your dentist will examine your teeth and gums, discuss any concerns, and recommend cleaning, treatment or preventive care if needed.

Our dental hours will be Monday to Friday 07:30–18:00, Saturday 08:00–13:00, and closed on Sundays and public holidays.
