He is registered as a general practitioner in the Republic of Ireland and worked as a GP in Dublin and Cork. In South Africa, he is a Panel Physician for the United Kingdom – one of only three in the country. Dr Bekker is passionate about family medicine, paediatrics, and mental health. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and is also a sports enthusiast.
