Walk-In Care

Intercare offers a walk-in service for urgent but not life-threatening medical treatment without an appointment. Although not trauma units, Walk-In Care centres treat injuries or illnesses requiring immediate medical care but are not serious enough to require a visit to the hospital emergency services. It is offered to patients who require urgent medical care but cannot get a timely appointment with their General Practitioner.

Medical conditions that can be treated here are:

  • Asthma
  • Minor injuries
  • Stings, bytes or allergic reactions
  • Infections
  • Vomiting, diarrhoea or dehydration
  • Fever
  • Headache & Migraine
  • Colds & Flu
  • Back & Neck pain
  • Abdominal pain
