DENTAL SERVICES
Glenfair
The dental team at Glenfair not only focuses on your teeth, but on your health in general. The practice is committed to biological dentistry with special emphasis on metal-free materials.
Why metal-free?
The so-called silver filling in your tooth can do more harm than good. It contains mercury, the most toxic non-radioactive metal known to man, even more toxic than lead and arsenic. The mercury continuously and slowly leaches out of the amalgam filling in your tooth. It accumulates in the body and can lead to toxic reactions because the body has very little chance of getting rid of the mercury. Extensive studies have been done on this issue in America and in European countries such as Sweden. It has been scientifically proven that:
- Amalgam releases significant amounts of mercury and it is the largest source of mercury to the body.
- Mercury is distributed to organs and tissues in the body within days after the amalgam filling was placed.
- Mercury crosses the placenta, thus exposing the unborn baby to mercury, and is also excreted in breast milk, thus exposing the baby even after birth.
- Adverse physiological changes occur after mercury exposure
- Mercury interferes with cell metabolism

Revolutionary device could bring an end to your headache
Jaw clenching especially while you are sleeping can cause tension headaches. Now there is a new device, called the NTI tension suppression system, that is fitted on your teeth by a dentist. It prevents teeth clenching and pressure on the jaw and consequently also relieves pressure on any muscle attached to the jaw. Its unique design ensures that it will not break or damage your teeth and is fitted in such a way that it cannot be swallowed while you are asleep. The NTI-tss is safe and very cost-effective in comparison with other treating methods currently available. In clinical trials, 82% of medically diagnosed migraine patients had a 77% reduction in migraine episodes within the first eight weeks of use. For more information, visit the following web sites:
